Glen Caravan Park is a family run site close to the heart of the picturesque seaside town of Morecambe featuring on-site launderette, wash rooms and children’s playarea.
A ten minute walk from the promenade, Morecambe bay is one of the many areas of outstanding natural beauty in the north west, known for it’s sunsets, beaches and views of the Lake District.
Take a stroll down the promenade to see the Eric Morecambe statue, the famous Midland Hotel with it’s striking architecture and the stone jetty. Morecambe offers a four screen cinema, Ten Pin bowling alley, indoor market (open Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday) plus two eighteen hole golf courses.
Local bus services stop close by the site entrance and run frequent services. Including Morecambe town centre, Salt Ayre sports centre and swimming pool and the nearby historic city of Lancaster, with its Castle, Cathedral and Canal plus many museums, tours and beautiful walks.
